Drivers are just realizing if you hold down a commonly used button for two seconds it unlocks hidden extra functions

A driver of an electric vehicle has discovered a useful hidden feature in her vehicle as well as the additional features it controls.

Lisa revealed the information while driving her Ford Mustang Mach-E, which she documents on her Facebook page @Carbonizedhorse.

In response to a question about whether she was aware of a secret feature in the car’s infotainment system, Lisa said she was.

She then shared a video showing a sleek touchscreen with a sizable button in the middle.

Push the volume dial for two seconds, according to the initial statement. You probably were unaware of this function.

Lisa was fast to enter her own Mach-E to demonstrate her expertise to all 16,700 of her fans.

Actually, she admitted, “I was aware of this feature.” “The comm screen mode is activated when the dial is pushed in for two seconds.”

Her Mustang Mach-E is capable of receiving over-the-air updates, like many other all-electric vehicles.

With an internet connection, these enable the downloading and installation of crucial software updates.

Lisa also said that the dial regulates the media volume and that it is located directly in the centre of the infotainment center.

She touched on a picture of a vehicle chair and added, “Since I got the most recent over-the-air update, it also controls this, which is my favorite feature. It’s warmer for my behind.

Lisa likes both her Tesla Model S and her Mustang Mach-E very much, and her YouTube channel is full of advice for both vehicles.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E received top ratings from Consumer Reports as an all-electric vehicle, even scoring higher than Tesla the previous year.

Since its debut, the Mach-E has garnered a number of prestigious honors, including the Editor’s Choice Award for 2021 from Car & Driver.

It also won the Car & Driver Electric Vehicle of the Year Award and the Cars.com Eco-Friendly Car of the Year Award for the same year.

The Mach-E is a good EV for beginners because of its range, conventional car-like appearance, safety ratings, and beginning price.

Although Lisa doesn’t really have a favorite, she does advise switching from gas to electricity for refueling.
