The famous actress and Hollywood Sweetheart passed away today

Evans Evans has died at the age of 91. Her role as Bonnie in Bonnie and Clyde was one of the funnier parts of the classic crime movie.

John Frankenheimer, the late director, was married to her. He died in 2002.

They were married on December 13, 1963, and stayed together until John’s death.

Evans was best known for her role as kidnapped Velma Davis in the 1967 movie Bonnie and Clyde.

Evans’s death notice says she passed away in Sherman Oaks, California, on June 16, 2024.

More information about what killed her was not available right away.

She was born on November 26, 1932, in Bluefield, West Virginia. Her first TV role was in the 1957 anthology drama series Studio One.

Evans had roles in a lot of TV shows before Bonnie and Clyde, such as The Donna Reed Show, Wagon Train, Death Valley Days, and Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

Evans also had three big roles on Broadway, in “The Dark at the Top of the Stairs,” “A Distant Bell,” and “The 49th Cousin.”

John cast her as Mrs. Randolph in his 1966 movie Grand Prix and in his 1989 movie Dead Bang, but the role was not called out.

NOTRE DAME AND CLYDE
Evans co-starred with Gene Wilder in Bonnie and Clyde, which was Wilder’s first movie role.

They played two young people in love who saw that Eugene’s (Gene) car was being stolen by bad guys.

At that moment, Eugene and Velma were kissing on their front porch.

They ran after the thieves, but then changed their minds and turned around.

Bonnie (Faye Dunaway) and Clyde (Warren Beatty), the thieves, turned around and chased them.

Even though Bonnie and Clyde take the couple hostage, they have a good time. They laugh at jokes and order takeout.

Eugene then tells them he is an undertaker, which makes Bonnie, who is crazy about death, angry, and they are kicked out of the car.

OTHER WORK
Evans was in 25 movies and TV shows over the course of 50 years, with Bonnie and Clyde being her most famous role.

The movie All Fall Down came out in 1962, and Story of a Love Story came out in 1973.

From 1973 to 1994, Evans was in movies like “The Iceman Cometh,” “Prophecy,” “Dead Bang,” and “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”
