The first episode aired on October 4, 1990, and for 10 years was among the most-watched TV series. There were a total of ten seasons and the last episode aired in May 2000. The series shows the lives of teenagers living in Beverly Hills in the transition from high school to college and then to adult life that comes with even more responsibilities. The teen drama was created by Darren Star and produced by Aaron Spelling and aired on Fox.
The most beloved characters of the well-known series are Brandon Walsh (Jason Priestley), Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth,) Dylan Mckay (Luke Perry), and Brenda Walsh (Shannen Doherty). Two decades have passed since the end of the 10 seasons. Many things have changed, the actors have chosen other paths and they have been very successful. However, we have some less good news about one of the actors.
The beloved and beautiful Shannen Doherty has been battling breast cancer since 2015, when she was diagnosed. The disease went into remission and now, at the beginning of 2020, it has returned and spread, affecting the spine. But she doesn’t feel that. She feels that she is full of life and that she still has a long way to go, even if she is in the fourth stage of the disease.
