The boyfriend of Megan Knickerbocker, who used to be on Real Housewives of Orange County, has died after a short illness.

It has been reported that Rick Brannon died after having heart failure and blood clots. The U.S. Sun can confirm this.

The news was shared by Megan, 37, on her Instagram account with a sad message.

“I still can’t believe you are gone… the events that lead up to it just don’t seem right as they replay over and over again in my head,” the reality star said.

“The anger and regret are taking over my whole being.” Although I think I understand it better now, I doubt I ever will.

“”We didn’t mean for this to be our ending. We had plans that no one will ever know about and we will never see. It’s not fair, and I’ll never be the same…I really miss you.”

She also sent a picture of the two of them together, showing Rick kissing her on the side of the head while she smiled for the camera.

Megan told everyone about the plans for his Celebration of Life a few days before it happened near his home in Orange County.

A former coworker of Rick’s also set up a GoFundMe, which was first used to help pay for his hospital bills while he was sick with pneumonia.

“The doctors have stated he is in heart failure, kidney failure and has blood clots in the left side of his heart,” a friend said.

After some time, the page was changed to show that Rick had died early on May 10, one week after being admitted to the hospital.

Rick’s friend said that the money raised would be used to pay for his funeral, stay in the hospital, and take care of his two sons.

As of August 5, more than $11,000 of the $25,000 goal had been raised.

There were sad posts on social media from Megan’s fans about her and her family.

“I’m so sorry for your loss,” someone wrote on Megan’s Instagram post.

Someone else said, “My heart and prayers are with you.”

Oh, those poor Knickerbockers. “The last 20 years have been really hard for them,” someone else wrote on another online thread.

“Wow, that’s so sad. “The family has been through so much,” said someone else.

Real Housewives of Orange County star Tammy Knickerbocker, 61, had a daughter named Megan. She was a full-time cast member in the second and third seasons.

Fans of the famous family will remember that Lindsey, Tammy’s other daughter, went missing in February of last year.

They asked for help from the public on their platforms after not being able to reach Lindsey for a few weeks.

Megan later told her fans that she had found her troubled sister after filing a missing persons report.

Lou, Tammy’s ex-husband, died of a heart attack in 2007, which was another terrible event for the family.

Megan and Lindsey were his children.
